This week many teachers are participating in the “hour of code” event. As part of the redesigned curriculum students are encouraged to learn how to code. See Code.org for examples of how to do this.
The Windsor community came together on Monday to have some fun. We started with our leadership students face painting during the lunch hour for our primary students. They are an energetic group who serves in many ways! Thank you grade 7s. Then we had a costume parade that led into the assembly. Dancing, poetry and singing filled the gym. Thank you to all the staff and students that contributed!
Staff and students in the annex gathered to enjoy a meal together. There was a real sense of community as each class was involved in the preparation of the meal and the walls of the annex are full of what they are thankful for. We may only enjoy the meal together once a year but we are thankful for the many gifts we have everyday.
