Today we had a guest scientist at School. He did some amazing experiments and we learned about inertia, potential energy, equal distribution of weight and some special powders. Ask your child about their favourite experiment.
This has been our monthly theme at Windsor during February. Classes have taken time to discuss and learn about what respect looks like, sounds like and feels like. We celebrated pink shirt day at Windsor through the theme of respect. We wore pink shirts, gathered together as a school community to remember why and how pink shirt day started and we shared how we respect each other throughout the year. Our Leadership students were at Metrotown sharing random acts of kindness.
This year we had 9 performances:
A Tae Kwon Do demonstration, 3 piano performances, 1 flute duet, 2 singers, 1 dancer and a singing performance with the student playing the guitar. The students showed enthusiasm, courage and amazing ability.

A special thanks to our audio visual student crew for helping to make the event run smoothly.
